DebianのWhoisを最新にする方法

私も、まだまだ使っている Debian6 の Whois を最新の物にする手順を残しておきます。現在、Debian6 にインストールされているバージョンは、「5.0.10」で約4年前（2010/12）の物です。少し古すぎるので、今回は、Debian7 向けの「5.1.1」（2014/1）を Debian6 にインストールして更新します。
※ 執筆時点で「5.1.2」（2014/3）もありますが、依存関係により一つ前のもので更新します。

// 作業ディレクトリーに移動（どこでも良い）
# cd /tmp

// ダウンロード＆インストール
// Debian 64bit版
# wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/w/whois/whois_5.1.1~deb7u1_amd64.deb
# dpkg -i whois_5.1.1~deb7u1_amd64.deb

// Debian 32bit版
# wget wget http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/w/whois/whois_5.1.1~deb7u1_i386.deb
# dpkg -i whois_5.1.1~deb7u1_i386.deb

// バージョンの確認
# whois --version
Version 5.1.1.
